We're kicking off the Awana 2024-25 year at FBC on Wednesday, September 18th at 6pm to 8pm.  For kick-off night, we ask that parents/guardians stay for the first 15 to 20 minutes of Awana. This time will serve as an orientation/open house for Awana, which will allow you (the parents/guardians) to see where to drop off/pick up your children, review sign-in/sign-out procedures, meet our Awana leaders, and experience Awana opening ceremony.

What is Awana?

Leading Kids Worldwide to Know, Love and Serve Christ

"Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.   Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. The non-denominational program offers a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.  It began as a children's program at the North Side Gospel Center in Chicago in 1941. Today, more than 12,000 U.S. churches run Awana with programs in all 50 states. Awana can also be found over 6,000 churches in 109 other countries.
